Project management, research, concept, copywriting, editing, content development, publisher/designer liaison

With the practice well established on the international stage, Wilkinson Eyre Works celebrates thirty years of architectural design and shows the huge breadth of the office’s portfolio.

Free: worked with practice directors to set out a vision for a ‘simple book in which the work tells all the stories’, and then secured a publishing contract with Thames & Hudson. We then developed a content structure for the book (which is based a sequence of four thematic contexts – earth, air, sky and water), created storyboards for each project, and project managed the production of written, visual and designed content.

A significant part of the work involved writing the project sections of the book, which include descriptive texts for each scheme along with extended captions.

The book was published by Thames & Hudson in November 2014.
