The founders of Atomik Architecture have voluntarily ‘worked their way down’ from large commercial architects to form a practice which thrives on collaboration. With a fledgling portfolio backed up with years of experience on much larger projects, Atomik - with studios in London and Kazakhstan - was looking for a more coherent and compelling way of telling its story.

Free: worked with the practice to define more clearly a central brand idea for the practice, which – as the name suggests – is to do with indivisibility. From this we developed ‘twelve ideas’ about Atomik’s process and architecture, expressed in short texts for a new website and marketing materials, and further extrapolated into a series of project descriptions. The final stage in the process was to create personal profiles for the founders, again based on the twelve ideas.
