Short stories on the evolution of practice.

2019

How do practices evolve?

This event, part of the core programme of the London Festival of Architecture 2019 and in collaboration with Rachel Birchmore of AreBe, explored the boundaries met by practices at each stage of their evolution, looking at how studios start up, arrive, stay relevant and survive succession.

The discussion brought together architects from organisations including BDP, Denizen Works, Feilden Fowles, Gbolade Studio, Hawkins Brown, Grimshaw and RCKa with clients including TOWN and the V&A, and journalist Eleanor Young from RIBA Journal to share their stories.
